Diakon, ist Stadtpatron Gesekes sowie Namensgeber und Patron der Stiftskirche. Da die Stiftskirche aktuell wegen der Renovierung eine Baustelle ist, wurde kurzerhand das Cyriakusfest in die Stadtkirche verlegt. Im feierlichen Hochamt stand er im Mittelpunkt. Und das im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes: Der Schrein wurde festlich dekoriert vor dem Altar platziert. Dies w\u00e4re fr\u00fcher sicherlich nicht m\u00f6glich gewesen.
